Klangstrahler, ein besonderes kleines und feines Label das mit sehr viel Liebe und hohem Qualitätsanspruch elektronische Musik veröffentlicht. Bereits 1995 gegründet, ist Klangstrahler eines der Label die wie ein Fels in der Brandung an ihrem Konzept und an ihrem Traum festhalten.
Nun mag so mancher bei erscheinen der neusten Compilation „Progressive Trance & Dance Compilation“ sich fragen warum hat diese Album keinen Titel? Oder der geneigte Gucci Brillen Raver die Nase rümpfen und sagen: „Progressive Trance? Wer hört das denn noch? Die Jungs vom deutschen Museum?“
Weit gefehlt... Gutes braucht keinen Namen und Schubladendenken ist ebenfalls veraltet. Diese wunderbare Compilation ist absolut überzeugend und atemberaubend. Mag sein dass die Bezeichnung „Progressive Trance & Dance“ eher irreführend ist, denn hier ist mehr zu finden als was der selbst aufgedrückte Stempel verspricht. Auf „Progressive Trance & Dance Compilation“ finden sich neun ganz besondere Soundperlen, die einem nachhaltig im Kopf bleiben. Natürlich läßt sich für jeden Track ein Genre finden in das man ihn einordne kann, unter anderem nactürlich auch „Progressive Dance“. Aber Tatsache ist das „Progressive“ hier eher im Sinne der grenzüberschreitenden Genialität der Produktion gemeint sein muss. Die Tracks... nein die Songs von Labelchef Gero Bode aka Klangstrahler Projekt, Sweat Attack, Alex von Linden, Morphing Tunes und Niko S. Echo nehmen den Hörer bei der Hand und entführen ihn in eine neue Dimension der Dance- & Listen Musik. Der Wechsel zwischen Dancebeats und relaxten Klangwolken erzeugt eine spannungsgeladene aber niemals anstrengende Atmosphäre. Alle neun Titel weisen eine hohe Qualität auf, und dass meine ich nicht abwertend, auf einem kleinen Label im Prinzip nicht erwartet. Diese Compilation macht Spaß, entspannt und macht Lust auf mehr!
Darum hoffe ich auf schon auf die nächste Veröffentlichung von diesem wunderbaren Label.

The title of this compilation might sound a bit like there's no real title, but it's strength definitely is that this way you'll easily keep the name of the label in mind. I already reviewed the "Pick Me Off The Dirt"-album from KlangstrahlerProjekt (released on Klangstahler Records), which made a real great impression on me. Klangstrahler Projekt opens this sampler in a marvelous way. I really like the way some projects used wafting guitar sounds to make psy-trance. It brings an extra psychedelic dimension to the song that has been completed by some female chants (adding an ethereal input) and astral bleeps. KlangstrahlerProjekt has been featured with a 2nd song as well featuring Molle. I've never heard a song in this genre, but the mix of psy-trance and a kind of blues is surprising. Some half spoken vocals have been added on top and I know it might be weird to hear this, but it works! Even if this isn't my favorite track from the album the idea and way it has been achieved is absolutely original! A next project on the list is Sweet Attack delivering three songs. From this band I especially like the "Sali Baba"-piece. This track was filled with astonishing sound and a sort of mysterious astral vibe. "Sun" is another well-crafted piece from Sweet Attack, but remixed by KlangstrahlerProjekt adding some guitar effect on top of the song. The two tracks from Alex Von Linden are quite remarkable as well. "Nightliner" is quite psycho-groovy while "Psychoslowakei" is a cool psy-trance piece. Niko S. Echo is the next project on the tracklist delivering two tracks. "Funk It" is the absolute attention grabber from this project. The psychedelic-groovy style with a solid, deep bass tone is fully enjoyable! Morphing Tones is the last project, which also launches two cuts. "Samarkand" was driven by a super and rather typical goa kick while some alien bleeps are leading the listener into higher dimensions� and that's what we might expect from such music isn't it? "Jonny Sitar" is also worthy of examination. It sounds psychedelic to the brim serving as perfect apotheosis for this highly recommended album!

Album Nummer Drei des Klangstrahler Projekts. Und das hat es in sich. Der Hörer wird mitgenommen auf eine Reise durch unzählige musikalische Welten, die gemeinsam vor allem zwei Dinge können: grooven und bezaubern. Mal mit Gitarren aus Country und Rock, mal Ethno-Elemente, Pop, Samples, Melodienfahrten, Rhythmen. Dabei in allen Tracks und als Gesamtwerk wunderbar homogen. Crossover im besten Sinne. Wahrlich toll!

Klangstrahler Projekt is back with a brand new album. Pretty interesting issue because these dudes defined some kind of really individual, innovative style in the late nineties. Connecting classical acoustic band music with trance they created an unique style. They worked together with symphonic orchestras, opera singers or famous drummers which was pretty unusual and new back then. Already one of their first releases, the “Nexxus” EP being released on Freeform Records in 1998 became a big hit within the trance scene. And I will never forget their unbelievable “Multidifferent”, which took me to one of my deepest trance dance experiences in 1999… So Gero Bode and his guitarist Mark Eichenseher already have a really impressing musical background.

“Pick me off the dirt” is the third Klangstrahler album and again it represents the musical skills and wide horizons of the producers. Starting with a wonderful acoustic piano intro, the journey continues with some great downbeat tracks. Again there are lots of acoustic instruments used in the first tracks like violins or even a mouth organ. And of course there is this unique Klangstrahler guitar sound floating upon the sea- deep basses and dreamy vocals. Perfect music to open a trance stage in the dusk of a warm summer evening. All the tracks are faded into each other and so guarantee a continuous trip. In the middle of the CD there are 3 tracks aiming the dancefloor. Rolling grooves, rocking guitar riffs… Great stuff for all trance freaks! The mood chills down again and there are some more deep and sophisticated downbeat tracks, great vocals create a very easy atmosphere. Gorgeous stuff especially for open air events!

Again Klangstrahler Project prove their selves to be independent from any style restrictions on the one hand and remarkable innovative on the other. The production quality is great and the integration of acoustic instruments and vocals has been perfected. This album is acoustic syrup, I just don’t know which dirt I should pick these dudes off…

Klangstrahler Project come through with one of the most interesting albums of 2007 on their new full-length release, ‘Pick Me Off The Dirt.’ In Shpongle-esque fashion, Klangstrahler present a conceptual chill/trance album that draws heavily on roots music of world cultures, and the flavors of choice are American Blues, Rock and R&B. I hear soulful, funky R&B vocals, dirty Dobro-style slide guitars, and Fender Strats wailing riffs Clapton would be proud of. All this meets up with ethno-chill and psy influences to create a wholly unique sound and style, unrestricted by genre norms and expectations. Definitely one of the coolest albums of this year and many previous.

The new album from the Klangstrahler Projekt is like a good bottle of wine. Open it and let it breath! You
can't capture all the emotions and the high technology recording at first sight. Yes this is no antagonism,
Klangstrahler Projekt received a lot of prices and been critically acclaimed for their high end recordings, but
they also get a lot off good reviews for their mixture of emotional band music and dance electronic.
So after the first listen through this great record will touch you with a lot of heart blood in it. Tracks like
"Prelude to a grand lovestory" or "Choose me" and "Celebrate love" are the best prove for this touching
beautiful music. A great album!
But if you let it breath, you will become addicted of the harmonies and the atmosphere of this project…
and for sure of its great sound that disperses a warm feeling even if we are talking about high technology!
Klangstrahler is music for lovers, music lovers and this music loves your ears. 100% approveable!

Klangstrahler Projekt returns with their long awaited third album. This has a real live feel running throughout, and is very much in keeping with their previous rock influenced releases. It’s modern but with an authentic old-school feeling of strong emotions and much sincerity behind the music. There’s also a real mixture of styles including blues, funk, pop and trance, and all with great live guitars, this album will appeal to a wide audience. Klangstrahler Projekt certainly haven't forgotten how to rock you or to touch your soul. Deep, sexy, funky, groovy and honest, my top tracks are ‘Mercy’ and ‘Celebrate Love’ (they get me "air guitaring" to everyone else's annoyance!)
